I Voted For Stupid

This is scary...

US elected officials scored abysmally on a test measuring their civic knowledge,
with an average grade of just 44 percent, the group that organized the exam said
Thursday.

Ordinary citizens did not fare much better, scoring just 49
percent correct on the 33 exam questions compiled by the Intercollegiate Studies
Institute (ISI).

Am I the only one who really wants to know which elected officials took this test? And am I also the only one who really, really, really, REALLY wants to see Sarah Palin take this test?

For the record, I scored a 93.94%.

Are you smarter than an elected official?

Sean Hannity Is A Douche Bag: Part I

Recently on his radio show Sean Hannity was touting Walmart's success in this stagnant market. He was talking about how Walmart's stock has gone up, despite the recession. This is an indicator, he says, that the economy really isn't that bad.

Which got me thinking. What other businesses have been flourishing recently? Hmmmm....

Campbells Soup has been consistently going up.

Spam is also doing fantastic.

And according to the above article business is booming for Velveeta, Kraft Mac n Cheese (it's the cheesiest!), Jell-O, and Kool Aid (OH YEAH!)

People are shopping at Walmart becuase they have to, NOT because they want to. People aren't buying plastic cheese, jigglers because they like it. They are buying them because they don't have enough money to buy anything else.

How does this guy have show?

Deep Thought

Why does the sign labeling the umpires dressing room in Safeco Field have "Umpires Room" written in braille on it?

Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Looks like some Verizon employees are about to get axed for accessing President-Elect Barack Obama's personal cell phone account without authorization.

The President of Verizon was outraged, OUTRAGED I tell you, saying...

"All employees who have accessed the account -- whether authorized or not --
have been put on immediate leave, with pay," McAdam said in a statement. "As the
circumstances of each individual employee's access to the account are
determined, the company will take appropriate actions."
Apparently immunity from prosecution only extends to those who are on Lowell McAdam's speed dial.

Sweet Release

Hi.
